Job Description
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, deployment, and maintenance of critical infrastructure automation and deployment pipelines. You will play a central role in service development using Java, configuration management, and CI/CD, working in a dynamic technical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with end-users and teams to understand technical requirements and functional specifications.
- Design and Implement new services, using DevOps concepts to enhance the industrialization process.
- Automate deployment and infrastructure processes, manage deployment packages, and improve the configuration management and CI/CD practices.
- Root Cause Analysis of defects and incidents, delivering solutions for service improvement.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, ensuring code reviews align with specifications.
- Innovation: Transition existing software delivery procedures to a unified, automated enterprise-level framework.
- Collaboration: Work closely with solution architects on CI/CD development and software suppliers for package structuring.
- Puppet/Ruby Scripting: Develop and maintain deployment code in Puppet and Ruby; explore Ansible potential as an automation alternative.
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum events within the SAFe framework.
Qualifications
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Spring Boot, Maven, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Scripting and Automation: Skilled in Bash, Batch, PowerShell, and experience with Puppet and Ruby.
- Source Control and Deployment: Proficient in Git; experience with Docker and Linux/Windows environments.
- DevOps Experience: 3+ years in Java development and DevOps or similar roles, with familiarity in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
- Network & Security Knowledge: Solid understanding of networking and security practices in DevOps contexts.
- Soft Skills: Organized, autonomous, and adaptable, with strong teamwork and prioritization skills.
- Language: Fluent in English; French or German is a strong asset.
