Innovating to Impact
Dentsu is a global marketing and advertising agency network founded in Tokyo, in 1901, and now operates in over 145 countries. It specializes in creating meaningful media experiences across major global platforms, original content production and influencer programs.

With our unique combination of Media, Customer Experience Management, and Creative, we push the boundaries of business transformation and sustainable growth for brands, people and society.

In this role you will be reporting to our Client Director.

Job Description

Here are some of the exciting tasks awaiting you:

  • Client Leadership: Act as the main day-to-day contact for your assigned clients, managing both operational and strategic conversations with confidence and clarity.
  • Strategic Planning: Translate client goals into actionable media strategies, working closely with planners, investment leads, and specialists to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Project Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of client campaigns—from briefing and planning to execution, reporting, and optimization—ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage client budgets, fee structures, and performance-based bonuses. Ensure financial processes run smoothly, including forecasting, invoicing, and reporting.
  • Problem Solving: Tackle client challenges independently, knowing when to escalate and when to take initiative. You’ll be a proactive, solutions-oriented partner.
  • Collaboration & Innovation: Work cross-functionally with internal teams and across the Dentsu network to bring fresh ideas and new ways of working that drive value for clients.
  • Growth & Development: Identify opportunities to grow client accounts through cross- and up-selling of services, and support the Client Director in developing annual account plans.
  • Media Expertise: Advise clients on holistic media strategies, with a strong focus on offline channels (TV, OOH, Print, Radio) and a deep understanding of the Swiss media landscape.
  • Client Communication: Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and strategic recommendations with clarity and confidence. Ensure regular, proactive communication with clients.
  • Team Support: Motivate and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

A mix of the following is the person we are looking for:

  • 4+ years of experience in a client-facing or agency role, ideally with a focus on digital and offline media strategy
  • Strong understanding of the Swiss media landscape, especially in OOH and TV planning, buying, and optimization
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly and persuasively
  • High level of independence, self-motivation, and accountability
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking, with a data-driven mindset
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with media tools like Wizzad+ or MediaTool is a plus
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); German is a strong advantage
