European Patent Attorney (m/w/d) - Temporary 9-12 months 80%-100%

Your tasks

• Evaluating invention disclosures for patentability (novelty and inventive step)
• Assisting inventors in drafting invention disclosures
• Performing and analyzing state-of-the-art searches
• Drafting patent applications
• Preparing responses to office actions from patent offices and managing communications with external patent attorneys or patent offices directly
• Promoting and improving collaboration between developers and the patent department

Your profile

• Extensive practical experience in the field of patent law (At least 3 years as a qualified European Patent Attorney or 5 years as a Patent Engineer)
• Excellent written and spoken English skills; proficiency in the German language is of advantage
• Analytical thinking, strong communications skills, attention to detail and structure-oriented working style
