As Senior Manager R+D Ceramics, you will manage a diverse group of researchers, engineers, and technicians, driving innovation and excellence in materials science and product development. You will develop and execute a comprehensive R&D strategy focused on advancing special materials, refining processes, and creating groundbreaking product innovations. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will identify emerging market trends, understand customer needs, and leverage technological advancements to stay ahead of the competition. Your role will involve conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments to ensure the viability and success of new product developments. You will oversee the entire design process, from initial concept and prototyping to rigorous testing, ensuring that every material and product meets the highest standards of quality and performance. The following tasks are also part of your area of responsibility:

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Manage R+D budgets and resource allocation

• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging technologies

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Materials Science, Ceramic Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in R+D, including leadership roles
• Strong knowledge of ceramic materials, processing techniques, and characterization methods
• Proven track record of successful product development and commercialization
• Excellent project management and communication skills
• Ability to lead and inspire a team
