Client Service Lead, Assistant Vice President

Who we are looking for

As a member of the client service team and senior representative of that team, you will be responsible to navigate a client through the company by connecting the client - asset managers and asset owners, insurance companies, and official institutions – with the appropriate subject matter experts within State Street locally or across locations. You will manage regular client reviews to ensure service quality and coordinate resolution of client change requests to appropriately meet client expectations.

This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for

As Client Service AVP you will

  • Act as central operational escalation points for all services to your clients
  • Lead, coordinate and execute client projects or change requests
  • Lead in close cooperation with the project team custody, transfer agency or fund accounting related projects (Planning, Organization, Task lists, Coordination, IT – requests, Project documentation)
  • Lead regular client service review meetings
  • Track and coordinate market openings or repapering with internal teams and custody clients
  • Manage client infrastructure requirements to meet their needs – setup user access, help navigate through the State Street platforms

  • Ability to independently work on problems without clear guidance. Quick learner to ensure ability to navigate around the wider organization and learn the required insights to support clients in a more holistic and immediate manner
  • Willingness to support the change mgmt. side of the client service team organization to provide senior support and structure

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Several years of experience in financial industry with certain focus in custody, fund administration or transfer agency and flair for IT
  • Strong understanding around financial instruments, client / fund types
  • Experience in client change, fund lifecycle and fund opening/maintenance and market documentation will be a big plus

Additional requirements

  • Fluency in English
  • German language will be a plus
