As the Internet-of-Things (IoT) market continues to mature, the Sales Development Representative plays a central role in propelling growth for Cumulocity IoT – a market leading IoT platform. We’re looking for ambitious, enthusiastic, sharp, and tenacious self-starters to be part of our Sales Development team to help us reach new heights! Essential Functions

As an SDR, you’ll partner with Sales & Marketing to develop and execute plans for prospecting into targeted accounts and identifying new customers for Cumulocity IoT

You’ll do this by achieving and exceeding your monthly metrics of qualified meetings through innovative & strategic approaches of cold calling, emailing, social, and other various forms of outreach – along with following up on Qualified Leads (i.e. marketing events, webinars, website Downloads, etc)

Aim to uncover & understand business priorities, needs, and pains to position Cumulocity IoT as a compelling solution to our target customers

Manage, monitor, and maintain your work by keeping an accurate log of activity in our CRM system, and leveraging the rest of our sales tool stack

Keep an open channel of feedback to marketing, product teams, and department peers related to information we gather from prospects that could be helpful for our overall programs
Minimum Requirements

A self-starting mentality while possessing a burning desire to learn, grow, and succeed.

An interest in IoT and new technology, positioning you to act as a trusted advisor to customers.

Having exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to excellence.

Fluency in both English and German, enabling you to comfortably reach out to contacts and enjoy meeting new people while learning about their challenges.

Strong written & oral communication skills to articulate the value of Cumulocity IoT platform with passion, conviction, and clarity

A team-player mindset with an eagerness to help improve internal processes beyond your day-to-day tasks

Superior relationship building skills to build meaningful business relationships with prospects, customers, and internal colleagues

A proven track record of success and overcoming obstacles associated with prospecting
