MISSION STATEMENT
The Supply Planner is responsible for the performance and deliverables within the area of Supply Planning.
The primary mission is to ensure on-time, in-full product availability at Distribution Centers (DCs) and Markets at targeted stock levels and costs, to meet the Customer Service Level (CSL), minimize waste, manage Market Best Before Dates (BBD), and other parameters outlined in Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for the assigned portfolio.
A Supply Planner oversees the implementation of stock policy, daily monitoring of Finished Goods (FG) stock, analysis, and replenishment by submitting production scheduling requests for the factories within their portfolio.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES AND DUTIES
- Manage FG stock levels at DC’s (plant) to secure the target CSL and Inventory
- Monitor and animate wastage for assign portfolio
- CSL Root cause analysis an actions follow up for selling Market scope
- Follow the priorities/ markets and ensure the production in case of scarcity or OOS risk as per the Affiliate Supply Partners decision
- Actively managing the most efficient ordering patterns from a transportation perspective while continuously collaborating with logistics for enhancements.
- Running, maintaining, and upgrading planning tools in alignment with local or global supply planning strategies and processes.
- Crisis coordination and shortage management: Coordinating all stakeholders during a crisis, responsible for enforcing allocation rules for local/global crises, and creating scenarios to aid decision-making processes.
- Implementing necessary actions regarding packaging and variation changes during supply planning, such as transfers.
- Managing complaints for the assigned portfolio.
- Serving as the primary contact for the factory regarding Master Planning in the short-term horizon.
- Accountable for transmitting plant data to mid/long-term master planning and managing the capacity of one or more factories in the short/mid-term horizon.
- Participating in the Monthly Supply Review with the designated markets.
- Assisting in the onboarding of new team members.
- Engaged in the development of new tools/files that can enhance the planning process.
- Support the launch and implementation of new projects.
- Act as a coach for junior team members in complex situations.
- The employee will perform additional tasks as directed by the Manager within the agreed job scope.
- Continuously strive for self-improvement in line with job requirements.
- Maintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, proactively reaching out for assistance to address sensitive stakeholder issues.
- Communicate supply chain information clearly and proactively to relevant parties, including root causes, actions taken, and future plans.
- Build a thorough understanding of contract conditions to address supplier performance effectively.
- Utilize supply chain metrics to support and inform insights.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Understanding of Supply Chain domains: demand and inventory management, reporting, and planning.
- At least three years of experience in supply chain and relevant business sectors.
- Advanced knowledge in requirement planning or MRP is essential.
- Prior experience in a pharmaceutical company is required.
