We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Digital Technology Customer Analytics Data Architect to join our growing team. The Customer Analytics Data Architect is responsible for leveraging data, analytics, AI, and marketing technology (MarTech) to drive business growth and innovation, and will play a pivotal role in shaping our Customer Analytics data architecture strategy.

•Design and implement scalable data architectures that support Analytics, AI, and MarTech applications.

•Ensure seamless integration between various data sources, platforms, and MarTech tools.

•Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and IT teams to optimize data pipelines and infrastructure.

•Partner with marketing teams to leverage MarTech tools for personalized marketing and customer engagement.

•Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.

•Evaluate and recommend new data technologies, tools, and platforms to enhance our data capabilities.

•Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to keep our data architecture state-of-the-art.

•Acts as Subject Matter Expert to support the conceptualization and comprehension of a Customer Analytics strategic technical initiative roadmap, by leveraging on latest trends, best practises and solutions/ software stack in the travel & leisure industry, as well as at a broader retail level sector.

•Establish data collection processes, ensuring the availability and integrity of customer data from various sources. Oversee data integration efforts and work tightly with data product team to ensure data quality and consistency.

•Evaluate and recommend appropriate digital technologies, tools, and platforms to support customer data analytics features and user stories pursuing the priorities agreed with the business owners.

•Supervise the development of user friendly and intuitive technological reporting solutions to track KPIs and business metrics according to different departments engagement;

•Participate as Scrum Master to the PI Planning events and team syncs. Provide guidance, team coaching, and mentoring to ensure high-quality project deliverables. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages knowledge sharing and professional growth.

•Evaluate the technological effectiveness and impact of customer analytics products through retrospective iterations. Regularly monitor and report on project progress, key deliverables, scope changes and outcomes to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.

•Manage post-implementation technical support, resolving technical issues and working with technical team to ensure the solution is functioning properly.

•Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Economic Science, Statistic or similar.

•10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a related role, with a strong background in analytics, AI, and MarTech.

•Proven expertise in designing and implementing complex data architectures for large-scale data processing and analytics.

•Deep understanding of data management principles, including data modeling, ETL processes, and data governance.

•Proficient in data analytics tools such as Azure stack, SQL, Google data layer, Adobe Experience Platform stack to support the design and deliver of an E2E customer 360 view (including the whole set of data generated during the cruise through the MSC for ME Onboard Digital Ecosystem)

•Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other programming languages used in data processing and analysis.

•Familiarity with MarTech tools (e.g., CDPs, DMPs) and their integration with data ecosystems.

•Strong understanding of customer data analytics sourcing flows and platforms, data management principles and data modelling.

•Familiarity with data integration and ETL processes, data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, and similar), and statistical analysis techniques (Python).

•Used to work with agile methodology, SAFe 6.0.

•Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.

•Fluent in English, any other EU languages would be an advantage.

•Availability to travel.

•Right to work in Italy
