British American Tobacco Mexico has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Project Manager in Monterrey
The primary purpose of this role is to plan, coordinate, and supervise all phases of assigned projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery. This position is responsible for developing detailed schedules, allocating resources, managing risks, and collaborating with clients and stakeholders to define project requirements and expectations. The role involves leading technical teams, promoting effective communication, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations. Additionally, the role focuses on identifying process improvement opportunities, proposing innovative solutions, and preparing progress reports for senior management.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all phases of assigned projects.
- Develop detailed schedules, prioritise resource allocation, and manage risks.
- Monitor project progress to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.
- Collaborate with clients and partners to define project requirements and expectations.
- Lead technical teams and promote effective communication among all parties involved.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
- Discover opportunities for process improvement and propose innovative solutions.
- Prepare progress reports and present results to senior management.
What are we looking for?
- University degree in Civil, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
- 2-3 years of experience in handling large-scale projects
- Advanced skills in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Solid understanding of cost analysis, budget control, and estimations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Advanced level of English.
- PMP certification or equivalent (desirable).
