We are seeking a motivated, curious, and proactive individual with a passion for data protection, privacy and security to join GF as Data Protection Trainee for a 12-month fixed-term position. As the selected candidate, you'll get hands-on experience with a wide range of data protection tasks and projects.

Your tasks

• Support in maintaining GF’s data inventories (processing activities, assets, and vendors) in OneTrust
• Support the Group Data Protection Office in Schaffhausen, Switzerland in day-to-day operations
• Promote privacy across the organization
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to assess whether data collection and usage practices are transparent, protect user privacy, and mitigate risk
• Support privacy risk assessments
• Draft privacy policies, procedures and training materials
• Evaluate effectiveness of privacy processes

Your profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree (preferably in law, business administration, business informatics or similar)
• Fluency in German and English, both written and verbal
• Team player attitude with good interpersonal communication skills
• Proactive, independent and structured way of working
• Reliable, open and transparent way of communicating
• Passion and curiosity to learn, improve and develop
• Ideally experience in the field of data protection, compliance, or information security
• Eligibility to work in Switzerland
