How you can make a difference :

Collecting product requirements in collaboration with product manager and translating them into technical specifications: Including managing and ensuring the traceability of all requirements during the development process.

Responsible for creating the system architecture of the medical device together with the project team: Including defining the system requirements, identifying system components, and defining the interfaces between these components, taking into account patient safety, customer needs, functionality, reliability and testability, as well as manufacturability and costs

Responsible for defining the integration of all system components together with the project team and ensuring that the medical device functions properly

Ensuring that the medical device developed complies with the relevant regulatory requirements. This includes planning and advisory support in the implementation of integration and verification activities

Collaboration and coordination in the development of risk analyses in accordance with ISO 14971. Identify and evaluate risks together with the specialist departments and develop and implement appropriate risk reduction measures

Regular exchange and reporting of project progress to the project manager, product manager and product owner
That's what you bring along :

technical or scientific degree (B.Sc. FH, M.Sc. ETH or equivalent)

5+ years of experience in the field of medical product development

Solid understanding of regulatory requirements (ISO 13485, FDA, MDR) and the processes for developing medical products

Strong analytical and systematic problem-solving skills

Independent, reliable, and structured way of working

Open and solution-oriented personality, enjoys working in interdisciplinary teams

Quick comprehension, can ask critical questions, but also promote consensus in teams

Strong communication skills to coordinate and motivate teams (interface management)

Networked thinking with a holistic view of processes and quality in product development

Mindset for continuous improvement, actively initiating topics and getting involved in ongoing activities

Fluent English with the ability to speak German (min. B2 level)
