Are you looking for your next challenge in Optical Transmission Technologies? Do you have experience in xWDM and IP/MPLS transmission?

Working in the network documentation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that network elements will be entered into the network documentation tool, creating network infrastructure, B2B and other network services in the relevant tools and ensuring a high quality of network documentation deliveries to stakeholders.

You will ensure the availability of technical network resources (e.g. IP addresses, VLAN numbers etc.)  and support network engineering departments regarding all network documentation topics.

With a proven background in xWDM, you will support the optimisation of new processes and guidelines for network documentation and support the team thanks to your experience with IP/MPLS and optimal transmission technologies.

You will drive digitalization and other improvements in the network documentation domain and create or update relevant processes to assist your initiatives and represent the network documentation team with other B2B units and network teams.

You will be expected to have a degree in telecommunications or computer science and have a solid background in xWDM, IP/MPLS and optical transmission technologies.

Experience in working with Cramer and/or Netcracker will also be key but the ability to learn these tools would be considered. A attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to work with local and international teams is key.

Fluency in English is essential with German a clear advantage.

Due to the urgency of this position, we are only able to consider candidates currently based in Switzerland or from the EU with the ability to work in Zurich.
