Job Description
  • Leads and coordinates all engineering activities for the project, ensuring alignment among various teams and reporting to the Project Director.
  • Acts as the primary technical liaison with customers, consortium partners, consultants, and authorities.
  • Understands technical requirements and implements the Project Execution Strategy, Project Procurement Strategy, and Project Quality Plan in engineering activities.
  • Develops and maintains the project schedule, ensuring completion within contractual dates, and oversees the preparation and deployment of the Engineering documentation.
  • Ensures robust design freezes, proper quality control through quality gate review processes, and effective management of changes via the Design Change Request (DCR) process.
  • Maintains close contact with the site team during construction and commissioning, resolving engineering issues and ensuring timely provision of required inputs.
  • Develops cooperative relationships with the client and consortium partner, identifies and mitigates risks, and manages the handover process to the Warranty team, ensuring all inputs are provided to minimize issues.
  • Travelling up to 10 - 20 %
Qualifications
  • Extensive technical expertise in plant construction and industrial engineering
  • Passionate about engineering and able to inspire and drive technical teams
  • Effective communication skills that can adapt to various stakeholders
  • Can manage contracts while maintaining good commercial and legal awareness
  • Technical management of persons with different tasks within the Project
  • Strong and multidisciplinary technical expertise
  • Brings practical experience of introduction of standardized methods used to resolve complex problems
  • Develops conceptual solutions, taking operational aspects into account
  • Experience in working with numerous different suppliers/subcontractors and supply chain
  • Experience of inter-disciplinary project teams
  • Erection and commissioning experience an advantage
  • Possesses IPMA or PMI certification
  • You are fluent in English and French
