We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef de rang to join our dynamic culinary team at our vibrant seafood bar located in Zurich Airport. With an open kitchen in the form of a bar, you have the versatility to manage both production and customer relations.
- Ensure the smooth running of service in your section: from order to bill.
- Propose a superior offer whenever possible when taking orders.
- Clear tables and tidy up the outlet.
- Facilitate communication with the kitchen.
- Execute the preparation and cooking of seafood dishes with precision and attention to detail.
- Know the menu inside out and make recommendations.
- Respect and apply our standard operating procedures.
- Put customers at ease, listen attentively to them to consider their remarks and wishes.
- Proven experience as a chef de rang.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to ensure effective coordination with kitchen staff, service and customers.
- Knowledge of and commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
- English and German fluent.
