Chef de rang – Seafood Bar EN/DE

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef de rang to join our dynamic culinary team at our vibrant seafood bar located in Zurich Airport. With an open kitchen in the form of a bar, you have the versatility to manage both production and customer relations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the smooth running of service in your section: from order to bill.
  • Propose a superior offer whenever possible when taking orders.
  • Clear tables and tidy up the outlet.
  • Facilitate communication with the kitchen.
  • Execute the preparation and cooking of seafood dishes with precision and attention to detail.
  • Know the menu inside out and make recommendations.
  • Respect and apply our standard operating procedures.
  • Put customers at ease, listen attentively to them to consider their remarks and wishes.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a chef de rang.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to ensure effective coordination with kitchen staff, service and customers.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
  • English and German fluent.
