The opportunity

Want to play a key role in helping drive large sales opportunities at EY? We are looking for a Senior Associate to join our Pursuits team. You will work alongside senior pursuit leaders and Service Line Partners to help steer the tender process from information collection, coaching for meetings and orals to preparation of tailored deliverables and more.

We are open to candidates based in Zurich, Basel, or Geneva.

Your key responsibilities

• Develop a pursuit plan, establish key milestones and deliverables

• Conduct research on client, market trends, and competitors

• Help enhance teams readiness and contribute to build the EY value proposition

• Create concise and compelling sales materials, design creative storytelling

• Challenge content/messaging/layout for the writing and design of technical sections

• Help build innovative approaches and messaging for presentations and pursuit materials

• Review quality of documents produced, oversee the work of offshore graphic designers

• Assist in post-proposal activities, including debriefs and process improvement identification

Skills and attributes for success

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field

• Fluent in either of the 2 combinations English and German or English and French

• Prior experience in business development, marketing, or proposal management is a plus as well as experience with proposal management tools

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

• Strong verbal and written communication skills to craft clear, concise and compelling content and capable to communicate with confidence at all levels

• Team-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate at all levels

• High attention to detail, with a can-do attitude vis à vis problem-solving and ability to work well under pressure, flexible and adaptable as every pursuit is different
