How you can make an impact
- Active support of the products during development, market launch, growth phase, maturity phase up to saturation and the following discontinuation and orderly product withdrawal
- Creating business cases for new and/or further developments for the Executive Board
- Supervising and monitoring (budget responsibility) developments in the role of the customer
- documentation of the products
- managing the product's finances and keeping the product development within the budget
- Develop price-, sales- and marketing strategy for individual products
- Increase the economic efficiency of imported products
- obsolescence management
- Interface between different internal stakeholders (development, purchasing, sales, project management, business development, etc.)
How you will contribute
- completed technical education as electrical or computer science engineer
- strong knowledge of CBTC (Communication Based Train Control)
- strong leadership qualities
- 5 years experience in Product development
- established Software programming background, preferably with PLC development as per IEC 61131
- regulatory knowledge to ensure the product meets the legal standards to avoid compliance issues
- Experience with Agile Development methods and iterative approach. Previous experience with being Scrum master an advantage
- Targeted, structured and entrepreneurial thinking and acting
- Team player with a high degree of social skills, a sense of responsibility and assertiveness
- Dynamic and loyal personality
- German is mandatory, English is a plus
