Internship Cyber Risk Engineer 80-100%, duration 6 months

With the nature of Cybersecurity evolving so rapidly, Zurich Commercial Insurance is proposing an internship (+/- 6 months) for a Junior Cyber Risk Engineer to further strengthen Zurich’s capability with regards to Cyber insurance, Cyber risk advisory and Cyber services for businesses.

What you will do

The role will be part of our global Zurich Resilience Solutions (ZRS) advisory unit and will work on global, regional, and local levels with responsibilities in the following areas:

• Assist Cyber Risk Engineers to conduct cyber risk assessments of the client’s environment to better understand the cyber exposures, cyber risks, and loss potential.

• Provide technical advice to our cyber underwriters and other stakeholders inside and outside the business as a subject matter expert on cyber risk management.

• Participate to internal Cyber Security related projects to contribute to the ongoing digital transformation and continuous improvement of our internal methodologies and tools.

• Contribute to customer assignment tasks such as organizing Cyber Escape Games, scoping a penetration testing, drafting an incident management plan, or defining an information security policy.

• Be part of a fantastic team and share your ideas on Innovation.

• Help to promote Zurich Resilience Solutions (ZRS) at Cybersecurity events.

What you bring

• Student in cybersecurity or IT.

• Skills in Microsoft Office 365.

• Familiarity with cybersecurity assessment frameworks such as the NIST or ISO 27001 is a plus.

• Knowledge in cybersecurity governance, risk, and data compliance is a serious advantage.

• Curiosity, innovation, and motivation.

• Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in English. German, Chinese and/or French would be an asset.
