Client Management & Development
Play an active role in implementing globally applicable sales standards
Engage pro-actively with Front leadership to define sales priorities, align on targets for the front teams and run corresponding monthly sales meetings
Orchestrate Market sales implementation plan, including planning and running predefined sales initiatives to support the overall financial targets
Play active role in ensuring Intermediaries client engagement approach is implemented, by actively engaging with Group and Team Heads on status and focus areas, successes, and hurdles on a recurring basis; this includes monitoring of client related KPIs (esp. defined revenue levers)
Facilitate systemic client reviews, account planning, and client engagement in close collaboration with Front leadership, RMs and specialists
Ensure the use of data driven analytical tools to identify upselling potentials based on target client definition, trading behavior and local situations
Coordinate and align with internal Product Specialists to support the RMs in doing business
Coach and challenge RMs to achieve the financial goals of the Market. Organise training sessions to showcase new product solutions / ideas
Manage ad-hoc tasks related to sales & client management
People Management
Ability to work with various stakeholders from all departments across the organization and lead initiatives within Regional CS&E Intermediaries & FO
Implementing and maintaining adequate RM “on-the-job” sales training in close collaboration with the general sales up-skilling training concept established (i.e., one global sales standard)
Get involved in the Virtual Sales & Business Development community by promoting mutual exchange and contributing to sales topics
Professional and technical skills:
Higher education, preferably a master’s degree
At least 5 years’ experience in the financial industry preferably in a Multi-Asset Class sales function
Deep knowledge of the private banking industry in general and the Intermediaries industry in particular
Excellent understanding of banking products and services with focus on Intermediaries
Ability to implement concepts related to target client offering and pricing
Excellent proficiency in using modern banking applications and Microsoft Office applications, Bloomberg and other trading tools a plus
Proficiency in German and English is required with additional languages (esp. Italian) of benefit
Soft and personal skills:
The candidate should be capable of working independently with minimal supervision and yet be collaborative in order to draw from the firm’s wealth of experience and expertise
Excellent conceptual and sales skills
Should be able to work well in a matrix organisational structure with many different stakeholders
Communicates in a concise, competent and professional manner
Excellent team player that is easy to collaborate with
Strong sense of timeline responsibility and ability to multi-task
