As a income auditor you will join a committed finance team driven with the intent of delivering ‘FIVE-star' guest experiences to an international diaspora.
As our ideal candidate, you have proven experience in a highly active environment. Your organizational, communication, and leadership skills are second to none and you enjoy developing solutions that push groundbreaking boundaries.
You'll work closely with the management team to develop constantly evolving service goals.
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on approach with a ‘can-do!' work attitude
- Degree in hotel management or accounting and at least 4- 5 years of previous experience within a hotel environment
- computer literacy is a must, while knowledge of Opera, Micros, FBM and SUN System is an asset.
- Experience working with different business stakeholders across multiple functions in a very dynamic environment.
- Positive, proactive outlook, hardworking and outgoing personality - and a fun-to-work-with energy at all times!
- Swiss work permit holder or EU ID / Passport holder
- Proficiency in multiple languages is a bonus
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all the revenues are properly recorded and accounted for with the respective account codes
- Review all the night audit reports (i.e., Transportation Voucher, Miscellaneous Incomes, Laundry Revenue, Leisure Revenue, Telephone Revenue, Rooms Revenue and F&B Revenue) and ensure that all the revenue is properly and correctly recorded
- Prepare the Daily Revenue Report and send the same to the Executives and Heads of Department
- Prepare the Rebate, Paid Out and Refund, Duty Meal, Complimentary and entertainment summaries and forward it to DOF and General Manager for approval
- Review the Cash Drop Register and tally the cash drops and due backs with the PMS and POS systems
- Maintain and control the Safe box keys and Credit Card Passwords issued to departments
- Conduct surprise cash float at least once a week, and at every month's end
- Verifying the Telecommunication, Laundry and SPA revenues and ensure that it reconciles with the POS and PMS systems
- Ensure the Rentals and other income revenues (Visa, transportation etc.) are recorded properly
- Check the cash, credit card, city ledger, paid out, refunds and other transactions and verify the necessary approvals and supporting documents
- Verify the city ledger payment posted in Opera and the collection report prepared by the Account Receivable Clerk and tally it with the collection report
- Review the Hotel Foreign Exchange rates and maintain the exchange profit margins as per policy
- Review the Rooms and Banquets advance deposits and maintain the summary for the same
- Check the F&B outlet revenues and tally the same with the POS report
- Check the allowances, discounts, and complimentary checks during the day as well as necessary approvals
- Duties and responsibilities apply for both the hotel and the residential units
- Achieve 94% and above in FIVE Internal Audits
