The Sr. Sales Account Manager is a lead role of SMS (Semiconductor Mask Solutions) sales business in Mainland China. He/She is responsible for SMS tool sales, upgrades, options sales and relocations. Closely align with SMS head and Service Manager in regard to handling all commercial related topics to achieve yearly order intake and revenue target. Supported by Application and Service team, he/she is also responsible for developing new customers and business opportunities, establishing, and enhancing strong customer relationship as long term partners.
The Sr. Sales Account Manager is expected to have in-depth knowledge and experience with Semiconductor industry of Mainland China. Take lead to develop and implement sales strategy together with HQ team to realize SBU business ambitions. Collaborate with global SMS organization for global accounts management.
He/she is expected to be a role-model of driving for result and customer-oriented culture within Carl Zeiss SMS Mainland China organization.
Education / 教育背景
Bachelor’s degree and above, majored in engineering, microelectronics, or business administration is preferred.
Experience / 经验
Minimum 5 years experience in growing sales and account management with MNC
Minimum 10 years experience in Semiconductor industry
Good manner of English in reading, writing and speaking
Experience of leading projects working with multiple culture stakeholders, and / or managing multiple type/style of customers would be a plus.
Other skills / 其他技能
Good inter-personal skill, can act as a leader as well as a good team player depends on circumstances.
Working under pressure and great attention to details, strong stress tolerance.
Excellent communication skills cross functions and regions
Fluent in Chinese and English
Main Tasks / 主要任务
Sales management and business development
- Develop and implement sales strategy for Mainland China through closely working with BD/application team and HQ sales/product team
- Lead sales activities with BD/application and HQ team to achieve yearly order intake target
- Coordinate with customer and internal stakeholders for tool delivery and installation to achieve yearly revenue target
- Conduct clear alignment with HQ sales team on commercial strategy for China customers, ensure proper margin while maintain balance across customers.
- Propose and implement GTM Sales Process and Business Model development / innovation for China market
- Chase for account receivable, ensure fulfilling cashflow target.
- Maintain sensitive industry network. Develop new customers, engage in their early stage and support them to success with ZEISS solutions.
- Introduce new product/features to China customer. Explore/create customer demands.
Account/customer management
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationship. Ensure long term partnership between ZEISS and customers as true solution provider, which should be measured and reflected through an increasing customer satisfaction level.
- Continuously focus on and improve customer satisfacoty
- Keep timely exchange with HQ about China market trend and customer updates. Communicate customer requirements. Identify gaps between requirements and deliverables, collaborate locally and with HQ to prioritize topics and how to close gaps.
- For global accounts, closely collaborate with Global Account Managers to make sure clear alignment and consistent deliverables across regions.
