In this role you will work as part of the Aircraft Performance and Weight & Balance team embedded in the Flight Ops Policy, Procedures & Engineering department at SWISS with counterparts within the Lufthansa Group. In a broad field of operational and technical topics you will contribute on:

• Airport Data Engineering and Administration for Engine Failure Procedures, Obstacle Assessment and Special Airports
• Aircraft Performance calculations for all flight phases
• Basic Weight and CG-determination and calculation of operational W&B data and limits
• Weight and CG predictions and operational impact analysis for aircraft modifications
• Administration of EFB-Performance and Weight & Balance Applications
• Maintenance and provision of content for operational documentation
• Investigation of operational issues and exchange with various stakeholders

• Bachelor or Master degree in Aviation, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering or similar
• Experience in the field of airline operations and flight physics
• Team player who enjoys collaborating and communicating with various stakeholders
• Joy and motivation to familiarize yourself with complex topics and manufacturer software
• Flexibility with working hours to meet operational needs, especially when accommodating international requirements
• Analytical mindset combined with programming expertise (Python, VBA)
• Very good MS Office skills
• Reliable, structured and independent way of working
• Fluent spoken and written German and English skills
