Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the organization’s records management program according to established policies and guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements concerning records retention and destruction.
- Organize and manage electronic and physical records, ensuring efficient retrieval and storage.
- Assist with data classification, archiving, and the assignment of retention schedules.
- Provide training and support to staff on records management policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits of records and information systems.
- Work closely with IT and compliance teams to ensure data integrity and security.
- Manage external vendor relationships for storage and preservation services.
- Prepare reports on records management activities and initiatives.
- Master’s degree in Library and Information Science, Archival Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in records management or archival work, preferably in a corporate or governmental setting.
- Strong knowledge of records management best practices, legal requirements, and relevant standards.
- Familiarity with electronic records management systems and digital preservation techniques.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
