Tasks and Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Lead to oversee our Global Migration initiatives within our hosting infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading complex global migration projects and possess a deep understanding of the infra/hosting stack. This role requires a unique blend of project management expertise, technical acumen, and the ability to enhance and define processes and governance structures.
- Lead and manage global migration initiatives, ensuring all technical dependencies, challenges, and events are identified and addressed.
- Utilize comprehensive knowledge of the infra/hosting stack to guide migration activities and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Design and improve technical and operational processes and structures to ensure seamless migration.
- Steer and facilitate discussions with multiple stakeholders to expedite decision-making and achieve fast-track results.
- Develop clear plans and pathways for team members, incorporating formal deliverable tracking to ensure accountability and progress.
- Oversee and evaluate the quality of deliverables, providing feedback and challenges to the team as necessary.
- Apply extensive knowledge of qualification and compliance principles, with the ability to bridge the gap with Project Quality Management (PQM) and compliance requirements.
- Manage change processes effectively, ensuring smooth transitions during migrations.
- Coordinate multiple workstreams, handling a range of technical and non-technical deliverables across various technical teams.
- Define appropriate governance structures and communication packages tailored to different stakeholders and audiences.
- Produce comprehensive reports, integrating data from multiple sources to provide management with clear insights into project execution and migration outcomes.
- Proven experience leading global migration initiatives.
- In-depth knowledge of infra/hosting stacks and a strong technical background.
- Ability to design, improve, and implement technical and operational processes.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage and lead discussions among diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent planning and deliverable tracking skills.
- Quality assurance capabilities with the ability to challenge and motivate teams.
- Extensive knowledge of qualification/compliance principles and project lifecycle management.
- Expertise in change management processes.
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple technical teams and workstreams simultaneously.
- Proficiency in defining governance structures and creating effective communication packages.
- Strong reporting skills with the ability to synthesize data from various sources.
