We Are Looking For
Reporting to the Vice President Orthopaedics SC, the Strategy, Innovation and Deployment (SI&D) Leader within Orthopaedics Supply Chain is expected to lead the development and implementation of operational strategies and objectives across the business, driving continuous improvement in key processes and work cross-functionally to drive operational excellence, end-to-end process governance, and financial management.
The SI&D Leader is a strategic leader with strong executive leadership and presence, with the ability to engage through all levels of leadership. In addition, the SI&D Leader must lead with clear vision and purpose, setting aggressive goals and roadmaps for the team to follow to meet this vision. The leader will have a highly diverse and complex portfolio and an ability to manage across the portfolio, but also engage in tactical execution in the programs where required. This leader must possess strong business and financial acumen to deliver on defined business outcomes.
The Strategy, Innovation and Deployment Leader will be a member of the Orthopaedics Supply Chain Leadership Team and the MedTech Strategic Capabilities Leadership Team.

Key Objectives and Responsibilities
1. Lead the Strategy, Innovation and Deployment organization, a team of portfolio and project leaders executing strategic initiatives across the business.
2. Deliver on strategic projects in the areas of Network (expansion and optimization) & Integration (Acquisition), Compliance Programs (MDR, UKCA, Market Compliance), and Systems Technology (ERP and PLM).
3. Leader of ‘Network EDGE’ Network Transformation program, a portfolio of Strategic Projects that have been approved by the Executive Committee that deliver capacity for growth, supply chain resilience, invest in core technologies and deliver efficiency and profitability. Oversee multiple working teams and project leaders. Provide strategic leadership managing vision and purpose which support organization, functional and program goals. Accountable for project execution, financials and savings across all programs and focus areas.
4. Ensure effective Project Management for multiple key strategic workstreams – with appropriate process controls, metrics, and stakeholder updates. Partner closely with Finance to ensure financial planning and tracking is in place for all programs.
5. Lead and develop several cross-functional teams in the actual implementation of strategic supply chain business processes and develop and implement process improvements to support related business systems. Ensure effective change management, functional partnerships.
6. Lead Supply Chain Transformation strategy development and portfolio management in collaboration with the business Transformation Office.
7. Lead the development of business cases for strategic projects based on business needs that deliver value to the organization within defined criteria for growth, savings, avoidance, inventory, compliance, and efficiency.
8. Responsible for managing capital investments to support growth, innovation and deliver capital efficiencies.
9. Drive continuous cost improvement in Gross Profit and COGS aligned to Business Strategic Plan.
10. Sets the standard for timeliness, work ethic, and personal integrity.
