THE POSITION

This position primarily focuses on supporting the Indirect Tax Team with various administrative tasks. Additionally, the role acts as the central point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth and efficient communication.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handling of indirect tax administration with associated postal traffic, distribution and archiving

• Internal organizing and obtaining legally valid signatures

• Quarterly Monitoring and reporting imports of Bioproducts

• Monthly reporting of VOC deliveries

• Updating Master Data in Varos's ERP Systems (Item Master Data, Customer, Terminals, Tax related Tariffs & Details)

• Reconciliation of Indirect Tax accounts (MOT and Carbura)

• Reconciliation of MOT and Carbura movements and stock records

• Supporting the Accounting Team with Invoice Booking and Payment Process

• Booking AR / AP & voucher coding (according to IFRS)

• Netting for Carbura Payments

• Assisting Indirect Tax manager on internal & external audits

• Preparing OneG/L files for VAT reporting and executing the accompanying VAT account clearing postings
  
  

  
  

  YOUR PROFILE

  • Preferably a(n) (vocational) educational background in Accounting/Economics/Tax

  • 4-6 years of experience in a similar role

  • Experience with JDE and/or other comparable ERP systems

  • Fluent in English and German, French would be an additional asset

  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365, e.g. Excel

  • Good & transparent communication skills

  • Pro-active clarification and follow up on differences….

  • Understanding and quick comprehension of complex relationships
