Job Brief:

The TRANSACT software developer is responsible for software development and support. He/She is involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle and works closely with the business analysts and product owners to translate requirements into designs and software solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with business analysts and product owners to formulate requirements into designs and solutions

• Develops based on designs software solutions and maintains/improves existing code using Agile SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodology

• Tests code to ensure it produces the expected results and performs debugging when necessary

• Customize T24 modules to meet client needs while adhering to best practices.

• Documents new or changed software solutions in source, confluence/JIRA, where appropriate

• Communicates progress/issues to line management

• Supports Unit Testing and SIT/UAT team during testing and preparation of Rollout

Qualifications:

• can demonstrate knowledge as a programmer in Temenos environment. Mandatory proficiency in GBASE for R11 developments, and TAFJ for R22 developments

• has extended experience in working with Temenos’T24/TRANSACT

• Has excellent understanding of Temenos Design Studio, IRIS services, TAFJ and Oracle database

• Has experience with DevOps methodologies and tools (bitbucket, Jenkins, DesignStudio)

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Works detail-oriented and has an analytical mindset and critical thinking

• Understands the software development life cycle process and delivers

• Exposure to Agile development methodologies is a plus

• Knowledge of Wealth Management industry is a plus
