Job Description: Angst-Pfister is rapidly expanding its new US entity and is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Application Engineer (SAE) to join our dynamic Sales Team. The SAE must increase sales through growing existing customer accounts along with a large focus on increasing our current business partnerships as well as creating new business relationships at accounts.  We want you to become a Trusted Advisor to your key customers.


YOUR MISSION


You will…


·       Generate and develop new business with new customers in your designated territory.



  • Be responsible for the key account management of our large existing customers.

  • Win new customers for our sensor product portfolio in industrial, medical, and transportation markets.

  • Launch new products in close coordination with our product management and product development teams.

  • Maintain direct customer contact and relationship management.

  • Provide technical support to our customers and understand the applications and requirements of sensors.


YOUR PROFILE



  • You have a degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or physics. Alternatively, you have years of successful experience as a developer, product manager or technical sales representative in the sensor industry.

  • You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in the sensor industry.

  • You have expertise selling pressure or flow sensors (or sensor components).



  • You are enthusiastic about independent, technical, and success-oriented work in harmony with our corporate culture.

  • Experience with sales tracking software.



  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Ability to overcome commercial and technical objections from potential clients/customers.

  • Ability to solve problems and to deal with a variety of variables.
