We are recruiting a:

Your Responsibilities:

In this role, you’ll be responsible for all commercial, customer-related activities aimed at building and maintaining strategic partnerships with Pharma Key Accounts in the life science research field. This includes:

  • Build, expand and cultivate existing and new customer relationships
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to reach your sales targets
  • Generate forecast to drive business decisions effectively
  • Present our portfolio of reagents, biospecimens, kits and benchtop instruments to Pharma key accounts in face-to-face and in virtual meetings
  • Support our key account customers in finding solutions for their scientific challenges
  • Organize and execute seminars, exhibitions, webinars and joint customer visits together with our suppliers
  • Document your customer interactions and insights in our CRM

Your Skills and Competencies: 

  • PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology or a related field
  • Proven track record as sales representative in the life science industry, preferably covering key accounts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German andEnglish (both languages needed)
  • Self-motivated, flexible and results-driven personality with a passion for serving customers and driving sales
  • In possession of a Swiss driver’s license
  • Residence in the Basel area

We are looking for an outgoing, dynamic personality who enjoys working in a small, motivated team. You like working independently and you enjoy daily contact with our customers. A very good command of English is essential, as communication with most of our customers and suppliers is in English.
