The Position
Bei Roche arbeiten 100’000 Mitarbeitende in 100 Ländern daran, den Begriff Healthcare neu zu definieren. Am Produktionsstandort Basel Drug Substance Manufacturing der F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG produzieren wir mit 4 verschiedenen Technologien innovative Produkte für Patienten:innen weltweit. In Basel bekommen Sie einen Einblick in die Produktion von chemischen und biologischen aktiven pharmazeutischen Wirkstoffen für die kommerzielle und klinische Versorgung. Unser Standort besteht aus vier Produktionseinheiten (sogenannten Value Streams) und fünf unterstützenden Einheiten (sogenannten Units), in denen sich insgesamt 760 Mitarbeitende darauf fokussieren, Patient:innen mit Medikamenten zu versorgen.
Die Gelegenheit
Als Manufacturing Engineer Downstream liefern Sie Lösungen für den Antibody-Drug-Conjugates (ADC) Value Stream bei Basel Drug Substance Manufacturing für eine sicher und qualitativ hochwertige Produktion. Sie dienen sowohl unseren Patienten als auch unseren Mitarbeitern im Value Stream, indem Sie Prozessverbesserungen entwickeln und implementieren, den Dialog und die Zusammenarbeit zwischen globalen Funktionen in den Bereichen Entwicklung, Innovation und Regulatory fördern und sich mit anderen Produktionsstandorten von Roche austauschen. Teil der Process Engineer Community innerhalb von Basel Drug Substance ist es auch möglich, dass Sie in den anderen Value Streams (SUT Bau91 und MAB Bau95) eingesetzt werden können.
Ihre technischen Kernaufgaben:

Technische und wissenschaftliche Unterstützung (1st/2nd Line Support) zur Sicherstellung robuster Herstellungsprozesse im GMP-Umfeld
-
Bereitschaftsdienst (Pikett) als 1st/2nd Level Manufacturing Support
-
Planung und Koordination von Troubleshooting und Ursachenanalysen mit Value Streams, Quality und Support
-
Umgang mit (un)geplanten Ereignissen nach GMP-Richtlinien
-
Review und Freigabe von elektronischen Chargenprotokollen (MES) für kommerzielle und klinische Produkte
Arbeiten gemäß den Anforderungen des internen Qualitätssystems und cGMP-Vorschriften -
Leitung/Unterstützung von Optimierungsprojekten und Einführung neuer Technologien

Vertretung des Standorts bei Netzwerkinitiativen und in Network-Communities
-
Planung und Durchführung von Qualitäts-Risikobewertungen zur Reduzierung von GMP-Compliance-Risiken

Owner der Produktionsprozesse

Erstellung/Präsentation von Konzepten und Dokumenten bei GMP-Audits und Inspektionen
Wer Sie sind:
-
Abgeschlossenes Studium (vorzugsweise Natur- oder Ingenieurwissenschaften) oder Abschluss im Bereich Biotechnologie oder Bioprozesstechnik bevorzugt

Umfangreiche Kenntnisse im Bereich Downstream Processing von biotechnologisch hergestellten Produkten
-
mind. 2 Jahre Erfahrung in der biopharmazeutischen Herstellung oder Entwicklung (Erfahrung im ADC-Bereich bevorzugt)

Hands-On Erfahrung in Large Molecules oder ADCs Drug Substance Herstellungsprozessen in Stahl oder Single-Use-Technologie von Vorteil

Teamplayer mit sehr hohem Grad an Selbständigkeit in einer Self Directed Umgebung

Erfahrung betreffend dem Arbeiten in cGMP-Umgebung

Erfahrung bei technischen Transfers und im Qualitätsrisikomanagement (QRM) von Vorteil
-
Ausgezeichnete Kommunikationsfähigkeiten bei der Interaktion im Team, lokalen und globalen Schnittstellen
-
Freude an der Arbeit in globalen Teams

Lokale Arbeitssprache ist Deutsch daher sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse und Schreibkenntnisse erforderlich

Ausgezeichnete Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
