Process Engineer (m/w/d) 100%
Location : Grenchen
Type of Contract : fixed-term employment, until the end of December 2025
Startdate: in alignment with the candidate’s availability
JOB SUMMARY
To provide direct engineering support to the manufacturing production lines. Monitors the process, troubleshooting problem processes and assisting in resolving quality issues. Provides technical expertise on various projects/production jobs and processes as required.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conducts assignments encompassing complete projects or portions of major projects.

Determines methods and techniques to be used or adapts standard methods to meet variations.

Responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership for daily manufacturing operations and ensuring established metrics (Production, Quality, Scrap and Cycle Time) are met

Support production in a daily basis and participate actively to the main JOS meetings, as required
-
Utilizes Process Excellence methodology and analytical problem-solving tools to identify and implement improvement projects geared to reduce cost, eliminate scrap, improve quality and minimize cycle time

Establishes specific manufacturing capability technology to support transfers and new product introduction

Establish and ensure process control and maintains appropriate documentation

Provides specific technical expertise to support special projects, pilot operations, product and process improvements, risk management actions

Identifies and develops corrective action plans to improve the process

Encourage open communication and exchange of information within the department and between the various support groups

Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor

Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy
YOUR BACKGROUND
-
Completed degree in a relevant engineering or scientific field or equivalent advanced training
-
At least 2 years of experience in a similar field
-
Work experience in the pharmaceutical or medical field an advantage
-
Excellent communication and presentation skills as well as good problem-solving skills
-
Very good knowledge of German and English
