- Design and deliver sustainable solutions (in a make, collaborate or buy approach) to enable best-in-class Digital Customer Interaction (DCI) in China:
- Develop/improve functionalities requested by SBUs in WeChat Official Accounts and WeChat Mini Programs
- Develop/improve functionalities in WeCom
- Develop/improve the right degree of integration with ZEISS global DCI infrastructure (consisting of our public website & our portal solution that customers use world-wide to access digital products and services offered by ZEISS)
- Act as tandem with the Digital Product Owner for DCI Enablement who is defining the xSBU business requirements for key enabling functionalities
- Provide technical leadership and governance of the technical stack, best practices and security arcross internal and external development teams:
- Ability to design and create a SaaS model
- Lead the internal team to deliver scalable digital programs on SaaS model
- Lead the internal team of WeChat/WeCom developers and DevOps engineers in DCI
- Define and maintain a sustainable DevOps lifecycle which is compatible with the global setup
- Define and improve vendor guidelines and handover processes
- Advise SBUs with defining their target architecture. Support projects with applying technical knowledge to define target architecture and ensure long term technical viability of new deployments
- Ability to incorporate AI technologies in selected digital products/programs
- Act as tandem to ZDP Global on digital solutions to include China Pecularies in early design phase.
- Communicate and represent China’s DCI requirements in global architecture boards driving forward global solutions and standards for digital products (e.g., customer interaction, authentication, …)
- Continuously strive to build the technological backbone to enable:
- Improved time-to-market of new DCI features
- Improved availability of DCI data across digital solutions
- Secure, reliable, stable and compliant operations of existing DCI solutions
Education / 教育背景
- Bachelor (or above) degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
Experience / 经验
- At least 5 years of experience as a Program Manager
- At least 5 years of experience as technical developer
- At least 3 years of experience in a managerial position with discipliary responsibility for leading people
- Extensive experience in designing, developing and operating customer-facing applications for the China Ecosystem (esp. in WeChat and WeCom)
- Extensive experience in consulting
- Experience in AI technologies as program manager
- A cloud native mindset with a proven track record in designing and developing cloud-based applications which could be deployed to multiple cloud providers (Microsoft Azure, Aliyun, AWS, …)
- Knowledge of service-oriented architectures like microservices and technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Dapr and Terraform
- Experience in IT architecture consulting and design of governance and rules
- Able to maintain a sustainable DevOps lifecycle and the ability to troubleshoot on issues
- Experience to build up and develop technical teams (internal, external, and mixed) in agile settings
Other skills / 其他技能
- A good overview of frameworks, platforms and architectural design principles
- Awareness of local regulations like China’s Cybersecurity Law, MLPS 2.0, ICP licensing, …
- Readiness for moderate domestic travel and travel 2 times per year to Germany
- Fluent in Chinese,professional written and spoken English
- Acknowledged for driving decisions collaboratively, good communication skills, resolving conflicts, technical leadership and ensuring successful implementations
