Client Relations Specialist - CIO Office & UHNW Solutions (80-100%)

We are seeking an investment professional with proven experience in sales and client interaction in relation to discretionary and investment management solutions for wealth management clients (HNWI and UHNWI). A key aspect of this position is to grow our assets under management and increase discretionary mandate penetration within the Bank by developing close collaborative relationships with relationship managers and the entire IWMS stakeholders: portfolio managers, content marketing and communications, and the product and business development teams. The position will require frequent client contact, excellent communication skills both oral and written and excellent presentation skills.

YOUR CHALLENGE

  • Act as an entry point for Julius Baer’s Relationship Managers providing guidance and advice on tailored discretionary solutions for HNWI/UHNWI clients globally
  • Develop and set-up tailored discretionary solutions in cooperation with the portfolio management teams and based on Julius Baer’s house view and clients’ individual objectives and needs (holistic approach) and pitch together with relationship managers to help convert prospects to clients
  • Assume a proactive role in promoting the CIO Office & UHNW solutions and capabilities and Julius Baer’s discretionary mandate offering and participate in different strategic initiatives and client related activities
  • Actively source for new business opportunities and drive sales activities to increase the discretionary mandate penetration. Monitor, prepare and report client activity for senior management
  • Leverage the existing strong network and excellent collaborative working relationship with relationship managers across all regions
  • Contribute to the narrative, storyline and visuals of both standard and ad-hoc material in collaboration with IWMS stakeholders and in line with Julius Baer’s Investment Approach
  • Independent preparation and review of materials associated with ad-hoc presentations, such as existing or new client pitches, investment proposals, internal presentations, etc.

YOUR PROFILE

  • University degree in Finance or equivalent, CFA a plus
  • Proven experience in successfully promoting and advising wealth management investment solutions and products
  • Strong client facing, presentation and relationship building skills and experience. The candidate must feel comfortable to adapt his/her communication style to different levels of sophistication
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
  • Fluent (written and oral) in French, English and German (preferred)
  • Fully computer literate (i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
  • A proactive and “delivery-focused” mind-set with the ability to meet multiple deadlines under pressure
  • Team player who works flexibly and collaboratively to secure team success
  • Wiling to travel to Zurich on a regular basis
