ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (tenure track) in inorganic chemistry
TheDepartmentofInorganicandAnalyticalChemistryofthe Faculty of Science at the University of Geneva invites applications for a full‐timetenuretrackassistantprofessor position in the field of inorganic chemistry in the broadest sense.
The role includes:
teaching at bachelor, master and postgraduate levels, as well as supervising master's and doctoral theses. the candidate should be able to teach in French about two years after taking up the position.
The candidate will be expected to:
developafundamental,creativeand high‐qualitylineofresearch at the national and international level in his/her area of specialisation and to obtain external funding.
He/shewillalsoberesponsiblefor administrative and organisationaltaskswithintheDepartment of Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry and the Faculty.
Requirements:
PhD in chemistry or equivalent qualification. Major publications in international journals.
Starting date: July 1, 2025 or upon mutual agreement.
