Your main tasks: 

• As member of casting competence group activities related to casting pattern data management, Pattern inspections, prototype inspection, monitoring of improvement measures in foundry & supplier performance
• Managing and executing projects for the development of compressor parts in collaboration with suppliers, including technical and quality audits
• Determination of performance improvement measures (Quality & Delivery Performance) with suppliers under development as well as existing suppliers on escalation
• Management, execution and monitoring of trial orders from new suppliers up to handover to operational procurement
• Coordination on development & improvement activities with Engineering & Technical specialists as well support to Category management and R&D in development projects

Your Profile:

• Technical degree (e.g., HF Mechanical Engineering or related field)
• Education and / or practical experience in heavy engineering products, profound work experience and technical knowhow in castings / Iron & Steel foundry or supplier development of foundries/casting parts, machined parts will be of advantage
• Education, training, or experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance as well as Engineering or Project Management will be of benefit.
• Experience with Reciprocating Machines or equivalent products and their components will sharpen your profile
• Experience / knowledge of working in SAP-Environment
• Experience / knowledge with Microsoft Office tools and presentation techniques
• Professional English communication skills in spoken and written language
