In your role as a Flex-Pooling Portfolio Manager, you will gain valuable experience in operating and managing Axpo’s Flex-Pool all over Europe and contribute to the success of several exciting projects. With your skills, we’re reaching our goals even better and faster, and you can enjoy our freedom and flexibility to implement your own ideas and solutions.

What you will do:

• Optimally allocate the flexibility of Axpo’s Flex-Pool to different markets (ancillary services, Intraday, Spot, Peak-Shaving etc.)


• Develop and maintain tools for the automation of our market and trading processes


• Monitor the quality of our provided services


• Capture of billing-relevant information for our Flex-Pooling customers


• Help us expand our flexibility pool in Europe


• Help us merge the existing Flex-Pools at Axpo and realize synergies within the different asset types

What you bring & who you are:

• You have an ETH / University degree in Engineering, Data Science or a related technical field, with a good understanding of business economics


• You have an affinity with the energy and power market sector


• Proficiency in Python, git, SQL (confidence with Matlab is helpful)


• You are an open-minded person with great curiosity for new stuff


• You can put yourself out of your comfort zone


• You speak fluent English. German and French are a plus
